Anyone who plays hockey knows who the Great One is, he needs no introduction. Currently holding 60 league records, Wayne Gretzky retired from the NHL 1999, taking a small break before coming back to coach the then Phoenix Coyotes in 2005. His number 99 jersey is retired league-wide, the only player to receive this honour. All that history aside, he has finally made his way down the Sydney to help promote and grow the sport in Australia through the Canada vs USA Ice Hockey Classic. Sirens own Remi Harvey and father John Harvey had the pleasure of meeting such a great role model in the hockey community after setting up a synthetic ice rink for a channel 9 news interview. Below are some photos from the event.
